The water pipe system installed in the wall and floor of buildings must not be vulnerable to water leakage and other damages. In particular, hot water pipes, which are used in high temperature and high pressure conditions, must be resistant to both pressure and heat. PP-R pipes are considered the best option for residential water pipes and are widely throughout Europe and over the world.

The demand for under-floor heating systems has been increased in Far East Asia and Europe. The world has started to open its eyes to many advantages of under-floor heating systems. Compared to other material used in under-floor heating systems, PP-R has various advantage. Even the floor-heating pipes require a somewhat lower using pressure ( under 3bar), due to its relatively high temperature over an extended period of time, the long term characteristics of the pipe is especially crucial for long service life. Since PP-R pipes are made of material ( ISO 15874 or DIN 8078 , 1.9MPa, 8760hrs) which can endure temperatures reaching 110 degrees Celsius, it can be preserved from any problems associated with sudden rises in temperature such as in case of boiler trouble

PN20 has a service life over 50 years under conditions 60 , 10bar ,and PN25 has a service life of 50 years under conditions 70 , 10 bar. Therefore, PP-R pipes are best suited for low or high temperature radiators in large buildings or factories.

PP-R pipes which retain PP's characteristics of chemical stability and heat resistance are well suited for chemical pipes and also for agricultural pipes
